12 Week Body Transformation: Before & After Photos

Kevin Claxton is an Irish personal trainer who recently volunteered to try out a few of my latest training methods.

Some of the methods which we used included;

* Syringe style of intensity
* Systematic overload training

* Results benchmarking

* Maintaining digestive momentum

* Carbohydrate & protein timings

As you can see from the above photos his results are pretty damn impressive! It's a credit to Kev's work ethic and just shows that with the correct knowledge of your body, awesome MEALPLAN and the use of proven training methods, anybody can achieve the body they desire.

Some of my techniques might not sound familiar to you now but just remember, them and many more will be both discussed and demonstrated in my soon to be released book.

(If your only a recent subscriber, you can find out more about the book here)

ok so i plan to sign up to my local gym and i was wondering the basics, like how often should i go and how long for. i would class myself as a mesomorph and i am 18 years old. my friend says i should be going for 30mins every day and he is massive and ripped, but is he right?

Permanent Pump sounds like your trying to sell some NO product and Muscle4Idiots has been done to death.

Permanent Muscle sounds the best in my opinion.

Also considering your time in the Australian Army have you considered "Harden UP!" as a title?

Whatever the title I look forward to reading it

Hey man, about a week ago a friend referred me to ur website (Aaron from PCYC at sutho if ur familiar) anyway, since he showed me i spent hours going through jst some of ur gear. Ive been trainin for 3years now and read ALOT, i like ur approach to things and the way u explain is so understandable. Some of ur trainin methods i already started applying this past week and will run some for 6weeks to see how the work.

Anyway in regards to the title, "Permanent Muscle" is the best u hav there, definintely dont go for "Muscle 4 idiots" that cant be taken seriously and is like one of those stupid "pylaties for dummies" bullshit books and trust me ur stuff is classes above that so stear clear haha. But even still muscle isnt permanent and very few people continute weight training until they die so "Permanent Muscle" isnt really explaining ur empire! I do like Muscle Up, it sounds good and it explains exactly what ur getting at and is the main goal of why people would want to purchase the book.

Anyway thats just my two sence brother, Ill be responsible for a mark on ur tally of booksales. Great stuff!

Cheers, Brendan

Hy Rubes, as far as I'm concerned the best option for your yet-to-be-released book's name is Permanent Pump! it really sounds exciting and all. plus, people couldn't even imagine how a pump could become permanent and that is why I consider it to be so damn catchy.

os favorite choise is Permanent Muscle
adam, uk  - natural muscle   |2009-08-26 13:16:17
how about naturalmuscle just an idea, i like permanent muscle in your choises rube. i prefer to look for people who train the natural way. even tho most our heros have got big using anabolics. i don,t have a lot of money so i like the idea that there are people out there who want to help people reach there goals buy telling the truth. sorry for going on. great job, looking forward to your book.
Mark  - Book Title   |2009-08-25 23:12:22

G'day Ruben,

I've gotta say that from all of book titles, none really grab me.

1. Permanent Muscle

This one's good but it's a mouthfull to pronounce.

2. Muscle4Idiots

Been done before, not creative and does not strike enthusiasm.

3. Permanent Pump

Catchy and directed more to a crowd of gym junkies.

I'm with Gwyn on this one.

"Muscle UP"

It's short and simple.

I believe that less is more.

The only other title I can think of that has not been used is "Muscle".

How many hits would this book title get in Google? (Billions) Ka-Ching!!

It woulld need a subtitle as well.
Something like "How to build muscle fast - the proven way"

Just a thought, hope it helps you out.

Cheers,

Mark

there good titles that you've got going there, but i think a catchy one would be something you said in this post " anybody can achieve the body they desire", or something like that if not catchy enough for you.

This out of the 3 is my favorite. however i agree with a previous comment that it sounds like a title of a "muscle freak" bodybuilding book.

I understand the idea is to build a body for a lifetime, but i think there might be some better titles you might be able to use. i'm no english scholar so i can't really suggest much, i just think you need to really think about the main ideas your trying to get across in the book and try and have those themes represented in the title a little more.

words that come to mind are, natural, healthy eating for a healthy body, body planning, body blueprint, food fuel, think eat train, intensity for life.

hope that helps or triggers something else in your brain.
good luck.

Outta the three, def. go Permanent Pump. Just sounds catchy cuz of the double use of "P".

Hi Rube,
I'm a big fan of your training methods and your training attitude. It was a big help for me to find my own training attitude, training style and eating "plan".
But to be very honest: I don't like the suggested names for your book. Reasons:

Permanent Muscle: Sounds like someone will become a muscle freak. Just like someone who spends his hole spare time in the gym.

Muscle4Idiots: Oh common.. "xxxx for dummies" and stuff like that is really out of fashion and doesn't sound interesting or even professional.

Permanent Pump: Sounds like just pumping up muscles just for the look but being sapless.

That's just my opinion, so please don't get me wrong.

Feel free to mail me, if you wish to.

And sorry for my bad English, I'm German :-)

Best regards.

Dave

'permanent pump' shows your focused on pumping those guns and stimulating your muscles. it is also alliteration.
Renato Noveletto  - Permanent Muscle   |2009-06-16 10:01:28
My vote goes to Permanent Muscle 'cause it shows that this must be a continuous and focused practise. "Pump" looks like you are not into build muscles, just get them big, "stimulate".

I would go with Permanent Pump. For a lot of novice lifters like myself, the pump is so incredibly glorified. The 2 hours or so of pump I get after lifting is really self-gratifying to me. If I saw a book titled "Permanent Pump" I think I would definitely grab it and flip through it. Cause if there's one thing that beginners and amateurs want, it's a pump that lasts as long as possible.
Glenn  - Permanent muscle   |2009-06-16 08:33:05

Hey Reuben,

I'd go for Permanent Muscle, it sounds more serious and believable. Muscle4Idiots sounds like Muscle for Dummies and it's the worst title you could choose if you ask me. Also not very motivating; it's like the title tells you you're an idiot for trying to gain muscle.

Permanent Pump? How is that even possible, is the first thing I'd ask myself if I found a book like that.

Permanent Muscle sounds the best

I think you should name the book Permanent Muscle. Muscle4Idiots just sounds like every other book out there these days, the name is too cliche. Permanent Pump sounds like its some sort of sex novel or something, If I were in a book shop I would not relate the title to building muscle. Keep it simple, I think Permanent Muscle is a good name for your book.

Hi Rueben,

I think Permanent Muscle is the best - that's what we are all looking for. Good luck with the book.

Permanent Pump.
sounds good and that alliteration is pretty neat.

But i think MUSCLE UP sounds even better. if i'd see a book with that title I'd buy it!

Pump Machine is another idea for your book. We all hope to keep the pump we see much longer following the workout. That would be great. Good luck with your book.

Hi Rueben

I'd go with Permanent Muscle.
The 2nd one sounds too cliched ... and the last one is a bit confusing ... permanent pump? ... how can you get that? ... all day workout?
Muscle seems to be the only permanent thing after a great workout (and obviously the satisfaction!)

cheers

Hi Rueben.

Permanent Muscle all the way. The others just sound like fads and are the opposite to what you website/book stands for. As you we say, this is a lifestyle choice, not something just for christmas.
cheers mate
John
ps-great results there in 12 weeks !!!!!

Permanent Muscle sounds the best since so many people lose any results they get through poor diet and inconsistency. Might have the biggest appeal.

Hi Rube, I like all of the names there all pretty catchy, id go with 'muscle4idiots' if it was me though as it stood out the most.

Good luck with the book, can't wait to get a copy!
